Should I go out for my OCD?
Quote from Guest on December 27, 2020, 12:52 pmMy parents love going out, and they constantly ask me if I want to come with them. Most of the time I refuse because I like to spend my time home, but my religious ocd gets worse when I’m alone I believe. Being in the presence of my parents makes me feel safe and forget about my ocd. Or at least calm it down. Should I start going out with them when I have the chance?

Quote from Guest on December 28, 2020, 11:24 amI think You should be going with Your parents. The most important thing is to tell them about OCD, about your thoughts.
You shouldnt just stay in your room and think about OCD. You should be active, even if you are tired. This will make thoughts go away

Quote from Guest on December 28, 2020, 5:42 pmI have the same thoughts. Try to start to disregard them. God loves you. After reflecting on this type of ocd i think what God wants from us is to increase our trust in his mercy. Pray for the conversion of those that actually say these things to God. God bless.
